Hi All,

At the weekend I rearranged about 1000 carts, closing up spaces and creating larger user-definable cart areas and noticed something odd regarding pictures stored on carts.

Some carts that didn't have pictures, now do, and I wondered whether a ghost of a previous incarnation of the cart was hanging around? There is nothing visible on the 'Other' tab where the picture should be stored. When carts are deleted/moved should the image follow?

Similarly, on carts that did have a picture, now have a different one, but the image on the 'Other' tab is still the original one.

I don't want to be too picky, but I know over the next few weeks I've got an even bigger exercise to move about 11,000 songs and don't want to have to re-do pictures again.

Any advice would be helpful

Further to my post, I've noticed that pictures seem to be held in two different places, depending on which computer they are added from.

There are JPEGS stored alongside the carts audio in the 'Carts' folder, but also sometimes a duplicate BMP within a 'Thumbs' folder. One computer seems to be looking at the jpegs and the studio ones seem to looking at the BMP's.

Anyone know how to fix the problem please?

Hi Andy,

The Thumbs are used by Myriad v3.5 to show the pictures on the audiowall/cart players/log etc. and are generated from the main pictures in the Audiowall Folder.

AutoTrack v3.1 doesn't know about the thumbs folder so when you move carts there then they get left behind.

If you move the contents of the thumbs folder to another location then run the Audiowall Verification tool from the Tools menu it should recreate them for you.
