Hi,

Just a simple enquiry... Can carts be faded in an autofade clock? With our pre-recorded shows, we are pointing the clock to 3 specific cart numbers, sandwiched between news, ads, jingles etc. Whatever we do, the carts do not want to fade and we are left with an overrun on the autofade hour. Is it only possible to fade songs in the database?

Cheers, Chris

In the Myriad v3 station Database Settings (Q-AE TAB) you can specifiy if you can fade items other than songs -BEWARE this is a total Database setting not just for one hour!.

You would be better off right clicking over the entry in the log and changing the type to Song, that way it has a chance to fade it and it wont cause problems in your other hours.

In answer to your question, the default is set so that we can only fade and drop songs - but you can overide that in the databse settings.
