Myriad is designed to work very well on Windows 7, but to get the best experience you should make sure you do the following:

1) Turn off the Screensaver
2) Turn off all Power Saving
3) Turn off all System Sounds
4) Change the Theme to "Windows 7 Basic" - this turns off Windows Aero.
5) In the "Ease Of Access Center", click on "Make it easier to focus on tasks" and then click "Turn off all uncecessary animations (when possible)"

Thats the main things to be aware of.
