Hi,

I'm currently using Myriad at a local radio station.

I'm also a mobile DJ and use Virtual DJ.

One feature that virtual DJ has, that there doesn't appear to be a similar feature in Myriad is what is known as the "wait list".

This is where the user drags and drops tracks they may want to play later but haven't yet decided when. So the user would be browsing the tracks in search and would pick out tracks they think they may play later and add them to the wait list, then drag them from the wait list as and when into the log.

The pad would seem to me to be what you want.  IT has several possible uses, and that's one of them.  One of our presenters calls it the "shopping list"

Thank you Neil.

I only get to use Myriad at the radio station so haven't found out where everything is.

Where / how do I find the "pad" ? is it something that is there to use or does it have to be setup by admin?

Just click in VIEW and put a tick in the box which says PAD.

I personally never use it, always use the instant carts as they can be dropped into the log and I dont think the pad can be dragged across.
might be wrong,.......

Ok.

Tried it out today.

Yes I can drag and drop tracks onto the pad.

Yes I can drag and drop tracks from the pad into the log.

Just one small problem.. I don't seem to be able to remove induvidual tracks from the pad (once played or if added by mistake etc..), although I can clear the whole lot, any ideas?
